Rideau Lakes Reads
Bi-weekly book reviews on FM Lake 88.1 with book reviews posted on the website ; weekly top ten booklists.

Genealogy classes, French conversation, star watching, financial planning, paper crafts, geocaching, book talks…see our adult programs pages for a variety of adult special interest classes, speakers and interest groups.

World Book Encyclopaedia, downloadable audio books, net books ,databases on any topic under the sun, online newspapers and magazines...
Local History Resources
Microfilm readers, local history and genealogy collections, Lakes and Islands Times Past with hundreds of Rideau Lakes and Leeds and the Thousand Islands historic records and photographs posted online.
Museum Passes
Free family passes to the Museum of Civilization and War Museum. Please phone Rideau Lakes Public Library Branches for more information.
Giant and ongoing book sales
Both library systems have large annual book sales at different locations as well as ongoing book sales.

Both libraries offer toddler times.
Themed programs for school-age kids
Includes knitting clubs, homework clubs, seasonal activities…this varies from time to time.

Themed collections with books, games, music for younger children.

Computers preloaded with lots of games and literacy resources for children ages 2-8.
Great collections for kids and teens
DVDs, picture books, easy readers, juvenile novels, young adult novels, lots of non-fiction.
